I wonder if the BLFHS can assist me in my research?

Deaths of Indian Soldiers
Two years ago, I discovered eight gravestones of Indian soldiers in Brecon Cemetery in Cradoc Road. The soldiers died between June 1941 and July 1942. The gravestones conform to the standard design used by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), and the Indian soldiers are listed in the CWGC online Debt of Honour, from which I obtained some details. The Indian soldiers were mainly in Dinas and the Island fields areas. They were in charge of fifty or more mules and horses. I believe they all died from TB, but what were the circumstances of their deaths?
People have been asking about them, but nobody seems to know anything. Why were they here for so long?

Can anyone help me find out more, or tell me how I might go about finding out for myself?
