Breconshire Local & Family History Society (BLFHS)

was established in June 2011 to enhance, encourage and enable the study of local history and family history in the mid-Wales county of Breconshire.

Our website has a wealth of resources and information to help you in your Breconshire family history research as well as articles and talks about our local history.  We are a membership based group and some of our resources are only available to members, but it is easy and inexpensive to join, just take a look at our Membership page (link above).

We regularly add new information and resources to this website and we would welcome anyone who would like to get involved with activities such as Transcriptions, Monumental Recording or has an article to contribute to our newsletter.  Please get in touch, details on the Contact Us page.
